Understand that we dive on many shipwrecks that foundered in rough weather and that the Great Lakes can be very ugly for mariners. Fortunately nowadays we have access to a wealth of information, particularly regarding wind and wave heights—the dual causes of rough rides, dangerous entries and exits, and sick people!
